To help your session run smoothly, please ensure you have:

A current GP referral (if you wish to claim Medicare rebates)
Any relevant reports, letters, or previous assessments

North Psychiatry is a telehealth-based psychiatric service for adults. A GP referral addressed to Dr Luisa Fernandez is required to access Medicare rebates.
All appointments are conducted securely via encrypted telehealth platforms. Information about preparation, fees, rebates, and policies will be provided before your appointment.
If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services, attend your nearest Emergency Department, or call Lifeline on 13 11 14. North Psychiatry does not provide emergency or after-hours crisis support.

Meet Dr Luisa Fernandez
Dr Luisa Fernandez is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), She currently works within the Perinatal Mental Health team at Northern Health and has extensive experience across both public and private hospitals throughout Melbourne.
Dr Fernandez brings a warm, thoughtful, and patient-centred approach to every consultation. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based psychiatry and enriched by a holistic, integrative perspective that considers the biological, psychological, and social factors influencing mental wellbeing.
